This painting caught my eye immediately. The whole Judas story has always been intriguing to me and this painting shows a great rendition of the story. Colors are very bright and vibrant.
I agree with you that the colors in this piece are very vibrant and bright. But every time I look at this painting, all I can think about the the song "Judas" by Lady Gaga. I hear that song playing in my head when I see this. But that is just me, being a music junkie.
